Global Media Journal, as a part of The Global Network of Communication Scholars, publishes in various languages across different countries, including Turkey. Global Media Journal Turkish Edition (GMJ-TR), which has been published by Yeditepe University since 2010, is an international peer-reviewed journal that welcomes scholarly work in communication and media studies. GMJ-TR is an open-access journal that is free of charge and published online twice a year.
Objective
GMJ-TR aims to publish high-quality national and international research that covers theoretical and empirical studies in communication and media studies and relevant debates in the social sciences and humanities, thereby contributing to interdisciplinary scientific production.
Scope
GMJ-TR is published online twice a year, in June and December. The journal welcomes research articles, review articles, and book reviews in communication and media studies. The articles are subject to a double-blind peer review process, and there is no charge for article submission. GMJ-TR is indexed in EBSCOhost and ProQuest.
