About
Global Media Journal, as a part of The Global Network of Communication Scholars, publishes in various languages in different countries and Turkey. Global Media Journal Turkish Edition (GMJ-TR), which started its publication in 2010, is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on scholarly work in communication and media studies, with the contributions of Yeditepe University. GMJ-TR is an open-access journal published online twice a year.
Objective
GMJ-TR aims to publish high-quality national and international research that covers theoretical and empirical studies in communication and media studies as well as relevant debates in the social sciences and humanities, thus contributing to interdisciplinary scientific production.
Scope
GMJ-TR is published twice a year, in June and December. The journal welcomes research articles, review articles, and book reviews in communication and media studies. The articles are subject to a double-blind review process, and there is no charge for article submission. GMJ-TR is indexed in EBSCOhost and ProQuest.
